Investigation papers on road crash involving Karpal Singh sent to A-G's chambers

The police have submitted to the Attorney-General's Chambers the investigation papers on the road crash which killed DAP chairman Karpal Singh for further action.
Bukit Aman Traffic Chief SAC Mohd Fuad Abd Latiff said the investigations papers were submitted on May 7, but declined to elaborate further.
Karpal Singh, 74, who was also Bukit Gelugor Member of Parliament, and his personal assistant, Michael Cornelius, 39, were killed in a road crash at Km 306.1 of the North-South Expressway near Gua Tempurung in Kampar last April 17.
On the road crash involving Paloh State Assemblyman Datuk Nozula Mat Diah, Mohd Fuad said investigation was in progress.
In the accident which occurred on the same day at about 6.30 pm at Km 23, Jalan Cameron Highlands-Simpang Pulai, Nozula sustained minor injuries, while his wife, Datin Maziah Din died.
They were on their way from Gua Musang, Kelantan to Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, when the mishap occurred.
