It's a girl! TMJ and wife welcome new bundle of joy

Tunku Mahkota Johor, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim and his wife, Che Puan Khaleeda Bustamam today became proud parents of a new baby girl who was born this morning.

The princess, who is the royal couple’s first child, was born in the royal ward of the Sultan Aminah Hospital in Johor Bahru.

The Johor Southern Tigers Facebook page shared a photo of the happy couple holding their new bundle of joy at the hospital.

"Praise be to Allah SWT and utmost congratulations to HRH Brigadier General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Crown Prince of Johor, and HH Che Puan Khaleeda Bustamam following the birth of their first child, a princess on June 25th 2016 in the royal ward of the Sultan Aminah Hospital, Johor Bahru. HH Che Puan Khaleeda Bustamam and her princess are now in good health. Allah Peliharakan Sultan," a statement on the Facebook page says.

Tunku Ismail, more affectionately known as TMJ, and Che Puan Khaleeda were married at the Istana Bukit Serene on Oct 24, 2014.
