If you think white is boring than think again, the Peugeot 208 S that Nasim just launched only comes in Digital White but with a whole list of mods to make the 208 S look twice as sporty than its counterparts.

The well-loved hatchback is not only popular in Europe, it has won a shelf full of awards to show as well. The Peugeot 208 has enjoyed major success since its launch in Malaysia and it was this success that led to Nasim bringing in the 208 GTI and now the 208 S.

Available as a five-door variant, the 208 S’s design evokes agility, modernism and refinement. What’s different for the 208 S from its counterparts? We list it down.

• The limited edition 208 S includes an S Kit spoiler, S Kit stripes, S Kit side mirror and a new SR1 grille.
• The sporty exterior of the 208 S is characterised by its signature front and rear LED daytime running lights to evoke a modern and agile appearance that is in line with Peugeot’s signature design.
• Those 16-inch two-tone Helium alloy rims further accentuates Peugeot’s signature design.
• To deliver outstanding levels of passive and active safety while keeping the overall weight of the vehicle low, Peugeot makes use of an aluminium front beam absorber, strengthened front sub frame, laser welding of the roof and extensive use of Very High Strength Steel and Ultra High Strength Steel panels.
• Coming as standard with the car are six airbags and an Electronic Stability Program (ESP) featuring ABS, EBD, EBA, ASR and DSC.
• The 208 S is also the leader in terms of ECO design. It integrates 25 per cent of “green materials” out of the 170kg of polymers excluding rubber. The 208 S’s rear bumper is made of entirely recycled material, this is a world’s first.
• Other parts made from recycled parts include the radiator frame, fan, wheel arch interior, soundproofing, boot mat, steering wheel, engine cover and air filter.
• Inside, the interior is finished in high quality trim accentuated by piano black and satin chrome finishing with Moonlight fabric seats. The highlight of the interior is the seven inch HD colour interactive touch screen.
• Look under the bonnet and you will find a 1.6-litre VTi engine that produces 120bhp and 160Nm of torque. The engine is matched to an auto adaptive transmission with sport mode and Tiptronic functionality.
• The fuel efficiency of the 208 S on a mixed cycle is rated at 6.7-litres per 100km.
• To uphold Peugeot’s legendary trademark road-holding qualities, the 208 S has MacPherson struts incorporated with an anti-roll bar front suspension and a trailing-arm with deformable cross-member axle at the rear.
