You’ve probably already heard that Jaguar is about to launch their 3-Series fighter to our country and if you’ve been keeping track, the Jaguar XE that was launched just nine-months ago has already collected a huge shelf of accolades. Now the Jaguar Land Rover is proud to announce that the XE has collected another title as the safest large family car on sale by the crash safety testing body, Euro NCAP.
The Jaguar XE was subjected to the usual amount of crash safety procedures and had passed with flying colours. JLR is especially proud of the XE’s 92 per cent score overall in the side barrier impact test for adult occupant protection. The near perfect score is a testament to the inherent strength and stiffness of the XE’s innovative light-weight aluminium-intensive architecture.
Armed with the impressive array of active safety technology that comes as standard, the most notable of which is the Autonomous Emergency Braking, the XE was able to perform extremely well in the safety assist, pedestrian protection and child occupant protection categories.
Looks like the XE has one up from its usual competitors having been crowned the safest car in its class. Are you excited to know that the XE will be coming to Malaysia soon?
