Jalan Gombak tunnel closed for upgrading works

The Jalan Gombak Tunnel will be closed in stages beginning tomorrow for upgrading works on the road surface, according to the Kuala Lumpur City Hall.

The lane from Jalan Gombak heading toward the city centre will be closed for three days from tomorrow until Monday, and vehicles heading for the city centre are advised to use Jalan Genting Kelang and make a U-turn at the Jalan Genting Kelang / Jalan Air Panas junction, according to a statement from City Hall released here, today.

Meanwhile, the lane heading toward Jalan Gombak from Jalan Genting Kelang will be closed from Dec 22 to 24.

"Vehicles from Jalan Genting Kelang can use Jalan Setapak / Jalan Pahang (U Turn) or Jalan Chan Chi Mooi / Lorong Titiwangsa 1/ Jalan Titiwangsa," according to the statement.

City Hall advised road users to be wary and to abide by the traffic signages put up at the locations concerned.
