A Japanese couple was found dead, believed to have been electrocuted, in the bathroom of a condominium unit at Mont Kiara Bayu Condominium here today.
Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Mohmad Salleh said their bodies were found by a cleaner at 10am who then lodged a police report.
"The male victim was found with the hand still holding the pipe and there were burn marks on the face.
"We believe the wife was killed while trying to help her husband," he said.
He said the man was believed working with a Japanese factory in Shah Alam and that the couple, both aged 38, had a six-month-old child.
