Jelajah AKM Terengganu achieves its objectives - Ahmad Samsuri

Terengganu Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar has described the Jelajah Aspirasi Keluarga Malaysia or Malaysian Family Aspirations (AKM) Tour in the state as successful in achieving its objectives as no group was left behind or marginalised during its organisation.

He said the Keluarga Malaysia (Malaysian Family) concept initiated by Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri was also successfully conveyed to the people through the AKM Tour which was jointly made a success by the federal and Terengganu governments.

"The Keluarga Malaysia concept conceived by the Prime Minister is timely, especially in bringing the country back to life after facing the COVID-19 pandemic.

"I also see the AKM Tour approach to states including Terengganu will provide convenience and in-depth understanding to all on the concept of the AKM which emphasises inclusiveness, togetherness and gratitude," he said in his speech at the closing ceremony of the AKM Terengganu Tour here today.

According to him, Keluarga Malaysia which emphasises unity and solidarity is also able to further strengthen the close relationship between the federal and state governments under the concept of Federalism.

"I believe that no one will be left behind or marginalised in the country's development process after this.

"Whatever the differences, whether religion, race or political persuasion, should not be allowed to jeopardise the blessings of unity and harmony that have been enjoyed so far," he said.
