Jokowi-JK team not decided on cabinet list, focusing on election

The Joko Widodo (Jokowi)-Jusuf Kalla (JK) pair of Indonesian presidential and vice-presidential candidates have yet to come up with the list of names for their cabinet.

The head of the Jokowi-JK campaign team, Tjahjo Kumolo, said the team was now focusing on ensuring a win for Jokowi and Jusuf Kalla in the July 9 presidential election.

"Still no names yet (for the cabinet). The Jokowi-JK team has agreed to not be swayed by dirty campaign, manipulation and lies. I believe the people know they are honest and open," Tjahjo said on Sunday.

He was responding to calls by certain quarters for the Jokowi-JK team to announce its shadow cabinet.

Tjahjo said the Jokowi-JK team would only decide on the cabinet list after it had won the election.

The people in the Jokowi-JK cabinet would comprise those with capability and integrity and who were "able to feel the pulse of the people," he added.
