1. Rapid Transit System Link (RTS Link)

Rapid Transit System Link (RTS Link) is aimed to strengthen Johor-Singapore transport
connectivity where it will be able to carry 20,000 passengers per hour, and is expected to be
running by the end of 2026.

2. Collaboration on economy

The Special Economic Zone (SEZ) will create quality jobs and new opportunities for our people.
Both Malaysia and Singapore have worked closely with stakeholders to ensure the SEZ fosters
long-term business growth and collaboration for shared prosperity.

The potential and appeal of the SEZ lie in the collaboration between Singaporean and Johorean
businesses to attract global investment projects, promote the region as a combined destination,
and, in turn, draw more global investments.

3. A Step Toward Sustainable Travel

The RTS Link is a sustainable transport solution, encouraging more people to choose public
transportation over private vehicles. This shift can lead to lower carbon emissions and a greener
future for both regions while lessening congestion at the immigration checkpoints.
