Another crossover comes to Malaysia, and that is the Subaru Outback. The unique crossover concept that combines passenger car comfort with capabilities of an SUV is now available in Malaysia at RM224,846.30 on the road with insurance and GST.
- The new Outback maintains the Subaru characteristics like the unique Symmetrical AWD system equipped with X-MODE that optimises integrated control of engine, four-wheel drive, braking and other functions on slippery surfaces. This helps enhances the driving performance of the Outback.
- A thicker body that is meticulously crafted to give the Outback a new distinct crossover look with a bold, rugged body shape, bigger tyres and muscular fenders.
- Not only does the Outback have an enhanced body look, Subaru has also worked to improve airflow over the rear of the body to reduce wind resistance. This contributes to a reduction in fuel consumption at high speeds.
- Subaru had painstakingly selected the materials to build the interior to achieve a high level quality finish. A dual-dial gauge cluster that gives you a three-dimensional experience takes precedence on the dashboard, while the rest of the interior, including the doors, in finished in quality leather.
- The Outback’s body frame shape has been completely revamped to improve the dynamic rigidity of the rear suspension and its mounting positions on the chassis. Subaru’s aim was to improve comfort without compromising the handling of the car.
- Like all Subaru, the Outback comes with the usual onslaught of passive and active safety features though all features have been enhanced to give drivers and passengers maximum safety.
While this might be a whole new Outback, Subaru has not made any changes to the boxer engine that is set low under the bonnet to achieve maximum stability. The All-New Subaru Outback 2.5i-S is now available for booking at all Subaru Showrooms across Malaysia and comes with a five year warranty or 100,000km.
