Karpal: DAP submitted annual report to ROS on Feb 8

The Democratic Action Party (DAP) today confirmed that its annual report had already been submitted to the Registrar of Societies (ROS) on February 8.
DAP chairman Karpal Singh who chided those who claimed that DAP had not submitted its annual report to the ROS said the party was also ready to cooperate with the ROS, if the latter sought for any clarification.
"The evidence has been acknowledged. If the ROS calls us for any clarification, DAP is ready to assist," he told reporters here today when asked to comment on Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein's call for the ROS to start investigating DAP for not submitting the annual report on time.
He said allegations that DAP had not submitted its annual report to the ROS was not true and baseless.
Karpal who is also the Bukit Gelugor Member of Parliament said the 'Allah' issue and protest carried out by some and personal attacks on him should stop because the matter had already been resolved.
The opposition will stick to the decision made on Jan 8, with regard to the word 'Allah' which allows the word 'Allah' to be used by non-Muslims, on condition that such word was not misused.
"The decision was made at the meeting that was attended by PAS President Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang, DAP advisor Lim Kit Siang and Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
