Kate Moss and Stella McCartney team up for Breast Cancer Awareness

It’s not #freethenipple campaign but Kate Moss and Stella McCartney are still making a huge point in fighting breast cancer, one of the leading causes of death among women. Stella McCartney designed a pink lingerie set and had her good friend Moss model it. It’s a bold campaign, which sends a message loud and clear apart from the little cheeky ribbon barely covering Kate Moss’ right nipple. Stella implores fans to check their breasts regularly, in the caption for the shot – seen by over a million followers on instagram. She said, “Bringing awareness to the fight against Breast Cancer this month. Ladies, check your body regularly and please get tested!”
The proceeds of her pink lingerie collection will go to the Linda McCartney Centre in Liverpool to help fund a new Mammography suite. Breast cancer awareness is close to the British designer’s heart as Stella lost her mother, Linda to breast cancer in 1998.
In this campaign, Kate models the range showing off her youthful good looks and stunning toned body. In an interview about breast cancer Stella mentioned, “Awareness about breast cancer is one of the most important things in the world. There are so many women affected by this terrible disease and even more people affected by the loss of the incredible women in their lives.”
