Kedah reduces road speed limit for Raya period
The state government has advised all road users to exercise caution and abide by the speed limit.
Kedah has reduced the speed limit, from 80 km per hour to 70 km per hour, on all roads except federal roads and highways from today to July 25.
Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir said the decision to reduce the speed limit was made at the weekly meeting of the state executive council yesterday.
"The state government advises all road users to exercise caution and abide by the speed limit," he said in a statement today.
