Kevin Morais' murder trial team visits places linked to case

Kuala Lumpur High Court judge Datuk Azman Abdullah, who is presiding the murder trial of deputy public prosecutor Datuk Anthony Kevin Morais, today visited three locations linked to the case.
The three locations are the Hutan Melintang police station where the skeletal remains of Kevin Morais' burnt car was kept, an oil palm plantation in Kampung Sungai Samak where Kevin Morais' car was set ablaze and a river in Kuala Selangor where a grinder and Kevin Morais' personal items, like watch, wallet and ring, were disposed off.
Azman, accompanied by court staff, including interpreter, arrived at the Hutan Melintang police station at about 12.20 pm, about 40 minutes after the prosecution team, led by deputy public prosecutor Saiful Edris Zainuddin, the defence team and seven suspects in the case arrived.
They were at the police station for about 15 minutes and then left to the oil palm plantation before leaving to Kuala Selangor 30 minutes later.
Six men - G. Gunasekaran, 48, R.Dinishwaran, 24, A.K. Thinesh Kumar, 23, M.Vishwanath, 26, Nimalan, 23, and Ravi Chandaran, 45, pleaded not guilty to a charge of murdering Kevin Morais between 7 am and 8 pm between Jalan Dutamas Raya Sentul and No.1 Jalan USJ1/6D, Subang Jaya, on Sept 4, 2015.
Another, Col Dr R. Kunaseegaran, 53, the first accused, had pleaded not guilty to a charge of abetting the six men in the murder of Kevin Morais on the same day and at the same time and place. -- BERNAMA
