Khairy offers condolences on death of FIT Malaysia participant

Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar expressed his condolences to the family of the late Kee Ing Lam who met his untimely demise while cycling during the FIT Malaysia event in Penang.
According to Khairy Jamaluddin, the post-mortem report revealed that Ing Lam had suffered a heart attack.
The deceased had a history of heart condition and underwent a bypass surgery before this.
55-year-old Ing Lam, from Taman Teluk Air Tawar collapsed at 9.45am after taking part in the 4 km-cycling event.
The victim was immediately brought to Hospital Kepala Batas and was declared dead due to shortness of breath.
