Kim Jong Nam murder case puts Sepang Court Complex in limelight

The Sepang Court Complex has become the focus of local and international media as two suspects in the murder case of Kim Jong-nam are expected to be charged in court today.
The media members arrived as early as 5am to line up outside the court complex in order to get the opportunity to follow the proceedings of the high profile case.
The gates of the court complex were closed and guarded by police and only vehicles of the court staff were allowed to enter the court complex.
The registration counter for media members and lawyers placed were put under a canopy next to the gate of the court complex.
The hive of activity caught many motorists by surprise and were seen slowing down their vehicles when passing by the court complex.
Attorney-General Tan Sri Mohamed Apandi Ali said yesterday that two foreign women would be brought to court today to face charges.
The Vietnam and Indonesia nationals were remanded for 14 days from Feb 16 to aid the probe into the murder of Kim Jong-nam at KL International Airport 2 (klia2) on Feb 13.
Jong-nam was at klia2 at 8am on Feb 13 to board a flight to Macau. An hour later two women suddenly appeared before him and wiped his face with the palms of their hands, which contained what was later identified as VX nerve agent.
Jong-nam sought help at a customer service counter at the airport and was rushed to the Putrajaya Hospital but died on the way.
He had come to Malaysia on Feb 6 and carried a passport bearing the name Kim Chol. --Bernama
