KUALA LUMPUR: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah today received the credentials of 19 foreign envoys to Malaysia, at Istana Negara here.
Also present at the ceremony was the Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah.
The 19 foreign envoys are Joana Veneranda Amaral from Timor-Leste; Takahashi Katsuhiko (Japan); Saad Maandi (Algeria); Ricardo Estanislao Morote Canales (Peru); Dabare Liyanage Sumangala Dias (Sri Lanka) and Constance Chemwayi (Zimbabwe).
Other envoys are Sentle Kenneth Rabale from Lesotho; Wayne Mitchell Robson (Canada); Agostinho Andre De Carvalho Fernandes (Angola); Riadh Dridi (Tunisia); Maynor Jacobo Cuyun Salguero (Guatemala); Lars Bo Larsen (Denmark) and Rwamucyo Ernest (Rwanda).
Others are Alem Tsehaye Woldemariam (Eritrea); Leko Ado (Niger); Belmiro Jose Malate (Mozambique); Apostolos Baltas (Greece); Amenatave V. Yauvoli (Fiji); and Petar Dimitrov Andonov (Bulgaria).
Also present at the ceremony was Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Abdullah.
