There's nothing to worry about the health of the Yang DiPertuan Agong Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah, said Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir.
"His Majesty is not ill as rumoured through the short messaging system (SMS), the source of which I am not sure.
To my knowledge, the King is in stable health. Doctors are always on hand to monitor his Majesty's health," he told reporters after opening the Baitul Zainab Orphanage here today.
On the holding of yassin prayers for the Majesty's good health and prosperity, Mukhriz said this was a normal thing and Kedahans were encouraged to do so.
