The Federal Territories Ministry will not sign the 2020 Kuala Lumpur Structure Plan if no consensus is reached among all the 11 parliamentary members in Kuala Lumpur on the development plan.
Its minister, Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, said the ministry would organise meetings with the affected parliamentary members before making any decision.
"Lots of requirements have to be looked into ...some of draft can't be used," he told reporters after launching the 2017 Asian Islamic Fashion Week here on Tuesday.
The event will be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from March 30 to April 2.

The Kuala Lumpur Structure Plan was launched in May 2008 and was scheduled to gazette on July 1, 2012, but until today, it has yet to be gazetted.
On Monday, a local media reported Tengku Adnan as saying that he would not sign or approve the plan as there were opportunities for misappropriation. -- Bernama
