KL to welcome world's top education leaders
The International Baccalaureate Asia Pacific Conference 2013 (the IB Conference 2013) is expected to generate approximately RM10.6 million economic impact for Malaysia.
The conference, presented by the International Baccalaureate Asia Pacific Global Centre, will take place in Kuala Lumpur and is expected to attract 900 international delegates.
A three-day conference, starting from March 21, will feature key note presentations from distinguished internationally recognised champions of the education industry such as Professor Sohail Inayatullah, Mr. Ben Walden and Professor Paula Barrett.
“The Annual Conference provides an excellent opportunity for educational leaders and decision makers to share best practices the way we are educating students and creating an education system that nurtures the skills necessary for success,” said Ian Chambers, director, International Baccalaureate, Asia Pacific.
All three speakers have collectively conducted numerous studies that have significantly impacted the lives of literally thousands of children all over the world.
As a platform for education the IB Conference also aims to create an education system that nurtures the abilities and capabilities of children.
The conference is supported by the Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB).
