KTM Komuter, KTM Intercity service disruption following cargo train derailment

There will be disruption in services of several KTM Komuter and KTM Intercity services due to the derailment of a cargo train at Km 386.00 between Bank Negara and Kuala Lumpur at 3.11 am today.
The train services affected are: Sungai Gadut–Rawang route (the service ends at KL Sentral station), Rawang–Sungai Gadut route (the service ends at the Kepong station), Batu Caves–Port Klang route (the service ends at the Sentul station) and the Port Klang–Batu Caves route (the service ends at KL Sentral station).
It added that there are no train service from and to the Kuala Lumpur, Bank Negara, Putra, Sentul and Segambut stations.
Meanwhile, the KTM Intercity trains affected are: the Rakyat Ekspres Train No. 1 (Butterworth-Singapore), the Rakyat Express Train No. 2 (Singapore-Butterworth), Langkawi Express (KL Sentral-Hatyai), ETS Train (KL Sentral-Ipoh), and ETS Train (Ipoh-KL Sentral).
KTM Berhad added that repair works of the railway tracks is currently in progress and work on one of the railway track is expected to be ready by 1pm Saturday and scheduled to be fully completed by Sunday.
