A landslide occurred at KM52.4 of the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Highway (KLK) near Bukit Tinggi this evening.
According to the Malaysian Highway Authority's official Twitter (@LLMinfotrafik), both north- and south-bound roads have been closed and traffic was at a standstill.
Highway users have been advised to use alternative routes. Those from Kuantan are to take the Bentong exit while those from Kuala Lumpur are to exit at Genting Sempah.
Meanwhile, unconfirmed reports claim that several cars were buried in the landslide.
