The number of flood victims at the relief centres in Terengganu dropped to 6,758 this morning from 7,167 last night.
According to the National Security Council's (MKN) portal, Kuala Terengganu was the latest district in the state to be inundated by flood waters, forcing a family of six to be evacuated to SK Felda Belara at 9.30 last night.
Generally, the number of victims at the relief centres in several affected areas had gone down as some were allowed to go home yesterday.
In Dungun, the number dropped to 4,101 (1,000 families) after 240 victims were allowed to go home late last night.
However, the number of victims in Kemaman remained the same since last night at 2,450 (595 families).
The number of victims in Hulu Terengganu and Marang districts also remained since last night at 157 (39 families) and 44 (15 families) respectively.
To date, 1,650 families have been moved to 67 relief centres.
