Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng and a businesswoman will be charged in the Sessions Court here today, under the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009.
Lim and Phang Li Koon were detained by the MACC yesterday in connection with the chief minister's purchase of a bungalow at Jalan Pinhorn here for an alleged undervalued price of RM2.8 million.
MACC in a statement yesterday, said Attorney General Tan Sri Mohamed Apandi Ali would lead the prosecution in the case, to commence at 10am.
