Local rock group Terra Rossa vocalist, 'Jijam' was today charged in the Magistrate's Court again for drugs.
Khairulhizam Kaha, 43, claimed trial to possession of 0.53gm of syabu in the vicinity of Blok 8, Pangsapuri Taman Miharja Fasa 2, Cheras, at 5.15pm on July 9.
The charge under Section 12(2) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 carries a fine of not more than RM100,000 or imprisonment of not more than five years or both, on conviction.
Magistrate Nur A'minahtul Mardiah Md Nor fixed Aug 15 for re-mention and did not set any bail as there was no surety present to bail out the accused, who was unrepresented.
Deputy public prosecutor N. Joy Jothi appeared for the prosecution.
On Feb 12, 2015, Khairulhizam was fined RM7,000 and placed under police supervision for two years by the Ampang Magistrate's Court.
