Lorde's Music Video for 'The Hunger Games' Track 'Yellow Flicker Beat'

Here's some thrilling news: Lorde has premiered a new music video online. The video accompanies "Yellow Flicker Beat," which appears on the soundtrack to the upcoming movie The Hunger Games: Mockingjay: Part 1.

Thevideo was directed by Emily Kai Bock (who also worked on Arcade Fire's "Afterlife" video) and it sees Lorde demonstrating her signature dance moves, that fall somewhere between those of a fun mom to a newly walking toddler. But, of course this is a commendation. In it, Lorde performs the song in a wide array of settings - an empty auditorium, a swimming pool, and even a cushy party (where she also happens to fall into an infinite pit) while sporting a number of chic, fashion-forward outfits.

The 17-year-old artist curated the soundtrack herself, which features the likes of Miguel and the Chemical Brothers.

The movie's out November 17, and so is the soundtrack! Not that we're counting the days or anything...
