LPT2 incident: "My heart broke when I hit the tiger" - MPV driver

The tigers characteristic was akin to a cat when it crossed the road.
“My heart broke”
That was the expression given by freelance photographer, Syahrin Abdul Aziz following an accident involving his multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) and a female adult tiger at the East Cost 2 Highway (LPT2) non Saturday.
His was even sadder when he learnt that the tiger was pregnant.
“I am a cat lover. I own three cats at home.
“My heart broke when this happened. In my heart I thought I hit a cat,” said Syahrin to Astro AWANI when he was met at his mother in-laws’s house on Sunday.
He said the tiger’s characteristic was akin to a cat when it crossed the road.

Syahrin was upset when several quarters had accused him of deliberately hitting the endangered animal.
He added that the incident took place as he and his wife, Masturawati Asari, 42, and three children Muhammad Adam Syafril 16, Nur Sarah Aina, 13 and Nur Ain Sofi, 10 were on their way home to Marang.
