Equipped with the ETA movement 988.333 Ana-Digi movement, which is the standard for professional pilots worldwide, this Luminox Space Pilot Professional Ana-Digi features a single programming crown for all manipulations – simply rotating, pressing or pulling out the crown is enough to operate the entire set of functions that are all especially useful to space aviators: 1/100th of a second chronograph, countdown timer, GMT time zone, alarm, audible time signal (minute repeater) and calendar.

During the critical re-entry to Earth, every millisecond counts, as the pilot must time the steering of the Lynx Mark II to hit the Earth’s atmosphere at a highly precise angle to protect the space craft from the intense friction caused by the air molecules. Timing of re-entry must be precise and possible for space pilots to synchronize their operations and accurate timing down to 1/100th of a second. Thanks to the Luminox Light Technology, the watch is also legible in pitch dark situations.

The ratcheted bezel is unidirectional, constructed from titanium and sits on an ergonomic titanium cushion casing. The dial is carbon-fibre, utilising the same highly heat-resistant material that makes up the body of the Lynx Mark II. The dial and counters of this high-performance chronograph are in the same black colour, and is fitted with a sturdy black leather strap, further enhancing its tech-savvy, masculine appearance.
