Lykke Li For Gucci SS15

Lykke Li is the heroine in the new Gucci Spring Summer 2015 short film, which debuted worldwide yesterday on the House’s social media networks. It features the singer’s hit “Just like a Dream” as the film tells the story of a young bohemian artist and her creative journey as she composes a song.

The short film features the moments that inspired her writing in flashbacks – from her travels around the world, to browsing a vintage record store to even watching a beautiful sunset. Everything around her inspired her writing and creates her songs. The video is whimsical, sun drenched and artistic in every sense of the word. We see her strum on her guitar and play on a piano in sepia tones.

Gucci brought together a bunch of dreamy sequences which it definitely brought out the expressive hippie within.

The director’s cut will be live on Gucci’s YouTube Channel and a shorter version will appear in select expandable banner ad units as part of a worldwide digital media roll-out starting today.
