MACC open probe into Annuar Musa alleged graft

The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has launched their investigation into alleged corruption and abuse of power of Tan Sri Annuar Musa following his suspension as the chairman of Majlis Amanah Rakyat (Mara) and Pelaburan Mara Berhad (PMB).
In a statement today, MACC said that it is cooperating with Mara audit committee following several issues linked to corruption and alleged abuse of power.
"MACC investigation is focused on corruption and abuse of power involving Annuar in the sponsorship of Kelantan football association, The Red Warriors.
"The probe into mismanagement is being conducted by Mara internal audit team," the statement said.
Annuar had reportedly said that he has accepted the decision to suspend him as chairman of Mara and PMB. effective immediately today.

MACC also advised the public to stop speculating and allow space for a comprehensive investigation.
