MACC reiterates Commision not involved in 1MDB probe

The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has reiterated today that the Commission was not involved in the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) probe.
In a press statement, the commission said it had to repeat this explanation since there were still questions from reporters and statements associating 1MDB investigations with MACC.
"The 1MDB issue is being fully investigated by the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) and, therefore, any questions regarding this should be referred to the police.
"This has been clarified previously in a press statement issued by MACC on Aug 5," said the Commission, here today.
