The Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) hassealeda house worth RM1.2 million in the capital owned by a PKR leader in connection with a probe into allegations of extraordinary wealth.

According tosource, the house wassealedto complete the ongoing investigations into the allegation.

The leader is expected to be charged tomorrow under Section 32 (8) (c) and Section 89 of the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001 for theoffenceof giving false evidence and documents during the investigation process.

MACC deputy chief commissioner (operations) Datuk Azam Baki, when contacted, confirmed the matter but declined to elaborate.

Last Thursday, the MACC detained the leader involved to assist in investigations.

The leader was also reported to own several luxury cars.
