According to the MACC, the accusations were deliberately hurled with the intention of tarnishing its image.
KUALA LUMPUR:The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) views seriously a viral message on WhatsApp entitled ‘Konspirasi dan Skandal Rasuah di Malaysia’ (Conspiracy and Corruption Scandal in Malaysia) using the name ‘Muhammad Fauzan Jamil’ as its author.
The MACC in a statement labelled the message as false and slanderous, adding that the email address used was also false.

“Following this, he (the person named in the message) will lodge a police report on the matter.
