KUALA LUMPUR: Majuperak Holdings Bhd is teaming up with Siemens Malaysia Sdn Bhd to explore digital grid and distribution business opportunities.
In a statement, the Perak State Development Corporation subsidiary said it signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Siemens Malaysia today to explore the technology partnership in line with the group's aim to enhance its energy management services portfolio.
Under the MoU, Siemens Malaysia will provide Majuperak with products and services from its Siemens Smart Infrastructure operating company.

"There is a lot of potential that we can tap into to develop and foster more efficient energy management systems.
"Given the strong emphasis on renewable energy, we are confident that this will unlock value and contribute to Majuperak's long-term prospects," he said.
Majuperak is involved in the property development and realty, infrastructure as well as energy segments.
