The Coalition of Malay Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO) today urged the authorities to take prompt action against the organisers of the Bersih 5.0 Gathering which they claim contain Daish elements.
Its chairman Datuk Jamal Md Yunus said this after handing over a 22-page document allegedly containing proof the Bersih 5.0 gathering had been infiltrated by Daish elements, to the police in the compound of Bukit Aman here.
The document, which contained texts and pictures, was handed to the Inspector-General of Police Secretariat Office Officer DSP Rizal Abd Rahman Sidek.
"We gathered all the evidence since last month from trusted internal sources and some from Rafizi Ramli. I handed over the document after scrutinising and studying it.
"Daish cannot be treated lightly because it can threaten national security and harmony," he told reporters in the compound of Bukit Aman here, today.
Asked on the content of the document, Jamal said it was a secret document and should not be shown to the media.
"We have surrendered the document of evidences as responsible citizens, let the police investigate after this," he said.
Jamal also reminded the organisers of Bersih 5.0 not to go ahead with the gathering, which they planned on Nov 19.
Meanwhile, Rizal said the document would be handed to the Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar for further action. -Bernama
