Malay voters to determine GE-13
To determine which political party will win in the coming 13th General Election is not Chinese voters, but it is the Malay voters.
Veteran political figure, Tan Sri Abdullah Ahmad said, the biggest challenge will be faced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak in the coming GE-13 is to determine which UMNO and BN’s candidates can be represented at Malay majority areas.
According to him, PAS and PKR can help Pakatan Rakyat take over Putrajaya if both parties won 60 to 70 seats in Malay areas.
“I don’t see that happening unless UMNO and BN use their old, incompetent, unrespectable and unqualified candidates. Najib’s problem now is candidates. People nowadays want to know who is the candidate and whether they think the candidate is suitable or not,” he said.
Abdullah was interviewed in the Agenda Awani program on Friday. Catch the interview on Astro Awani channel 501 with Nazri Kahar.
