Malaysia has strongly condemned the heinous attacks in Pakistan, on the eve of Eid-ul Fitr, at Karachi, Quetta and Parachinar, which left at least 80 people killed and more than 100 others injured.
The foreign ministry said the government also expressed deepest condolences and sympathies to the Pakistan Government and the bereaved families.
It also confirmed that so far, no Malaysian was reported to be involved in the incident.
"It is our hope that the perpetrators of the despicable crime be expeditiously identified and brought to justice," the ministry said in a statement here today.
The ministry, through its high commission in Islamabad, and the consulate-general in Karachi would continue to monitor the situation, it added.
