Malaysian taxi drivers the worst in the world?

Taxi drivers from Kuala Lumpur are the worst taxi drivers in the world, London-based website, LondonCabs.co.uk said.

In a statement on its website, the portal said drivers from Kuala Lumpur are known for overcharging clients and detouring.

LondonCabs also said that some KL taxi drivers also refuse to charge by the meter although they are supposed to do so.

The portal also advised readers to find another taxi if the driver does not want to use the meter.

To make matters worse, LondonCabs state that the condition of taxis operating in Kuala Lumpur also questionable as many are in poor condition.

The portal listed 10 countries said to have the worst taxi drivers in the world.

Among the factors that played by LondonCabs include language constraints, credibility and the attitude of the drivers also other issues involving taxi fares.

Besides Kuala Lumpur, taxi drivers in other Asian cities such as Bangkok, Shanghai and Mumbai were also listed.
