Malaysian woman with TB in Sydney hospital
The Liverpool Hospital in Sydney confirms that Salinah is in critical but stable condition.
Malaysian Salinah Nordin, 41, who is suffering from tuberculosis, is in critical but stable condition at the Liverpool Hospital in Sydney, Australia, the Foreign Ministry said today.
It said Salinah was admitted to the hospital on Aug 18, and officials of the Malaysian High Commission in Canberra and Education Malaysia Australia in Sydney had visited her several times.
"The hospital confirmed that she was in critical but stable condition," it said in a statement.
The ministry said it would work with NGOs and other agencies such as the UMNO Welfare Bureau in managing the welfare of Salinah and her family there. -- Bernama
