The government still does not allow any Malaysian to leave home to go overseas.
Senior Minister (Security Cluster), Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said, the ban also involved Malaysian students seeking to return to universities abroad.
"Indonesia is considered as one of the countries at high risk. COVID-19 positive cases are currently on the rise in Indonesia, the United States, Brazil and Europe.
"We still consider (these countries) areas with high risks.
"So far, we have not allowed our people to go to other countries, especially high-risk countries, including our students," he said at a press conference here on Saturday.
He said this in response to a question among Malaysian students who wanted to return to their universities overseas.
