SHAH ALAM: A man and his son cheated death when a tree fell on the car they were travelling in as they passed through Jalan Raja Nong heading to Taman Sentosa, Klang, this morning.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Norazam Khamis in a statement said the 80-feet tall rubber tree fell right on the Proton Exora driven by the man, who is in his 50s.
He said the man was travelling with his 17-year-old son and both of them managed to get out of the car unhurt before the rescue team arrived at the scene at 9.22 am.
The tree, which blocked the road, had also been cut and removed, he added.
