Man burns to death in car crash

NILAI: A man was burnt to death when the car he was driving crashed into a tree and burst into flames at Jalan Sungai Jai, Lenggeng, near here today.
Nilai district police chief Supt Mohd Fazley Ab Rahman said the crash occurred about 9.30 am when the 33-year-old man was believed to have lost control of the wheel, causing the car to skid and veered into the opposite lane and crashed into a tree before it burst into flames.
The impact caused the victim to be pinned in his seat, he said in a statement today.
He said the charred remains were sent to the Forensic Unit of Tuanku Ja'afar Seremban for post mortem.
