A father of one pleaded not guilty in the Magistrate's Court here today to a charge of voluntarily causing hurt on his girlfriend.
Abdullah Pi, 30, who is unemployed, was alleged to have caused injury on the 26-year-old saleswoman using cigarette butts and hitting her with a rehal in a hotel room at Jalan Raja Laut, here, on Feb 4.
Magistrate Mahyudin Mohmad Som did not allow bail for the accused and fixed March 10 for mention.
The prosecution was conducted by deputy public prosecutor Nur Farah Adilah Noordin while the accused was unrepresented. - BERNAMA
