A man who allegedly threatened lawyer Siti Kasim via social media recently, has been detained by the police.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Amar Singh Ishar Singh confirmed the arrest.

"I confirm that the suspect has been arrested yesterday with regards to the case," he said briefly to Bernama here today.

The suspect was being remanded for three days to facilitate the investigation, Amar Singh added.
