Man dies of electrical shock while cleaning fish pond

A man died of electrical shock while cleaning a fish pond at his foodstall in Taman Mahkota, Pantai Irama here Saturday.
Wan Mohd Adif Wan Mahmud, 40, was cleaning the fish pond at 1.15pm when he suffered an electrical shock after the wires snapped.
Bachok district police chief, DSP Abdul Hamid Che Ahmad said police received information regarding the incident at 1.30pm.
"The victim died instantly at the scene. The case has been classified as sudden death," he said when contacted yesterday.
The body was taken to Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital, Kota Baharu for autopsy.
