Man dies from fall at Low Yat Plaza

The incident took place at about 11.30pm when the traders were busy packing up.

The victim identified as Tan Wai Kit is from Kampung Baru Slim River, Perak.

Passers-by who witnessed the incident had called the Kuala Lumpur Hospital for help but the victim had died at the scene.

Police investigation revealed that the victim had worked in one of the handphone shops in Low Yat Plaza few months ago.

Prior to the incident, the man’s manager had lodged a police report alleging criminal breach of trust involving the victim.

On the way to hand over the victim from the fourth floor to ground floor where the police were waiting, the man had suddenly ran and jumped.
