Man found dead in budget hotel, police on the hunt for five suspects

Police are on the hunt for five suspects believed to have been involved in the murder of a man at a budget hotel room in Damansara Damai, last night.

The suspects, including a woman, were believed to have been staying with the victim since March 7 at the hotel which is located on the third floor of a business complex.

Petaling Jaya district police chief ACP Zani Che Din said the victim, aged 39 from Semenyih , Kajang was found lying on the floor in blood.

His body was discovered by a hotel staff at 9am.

He said the victim was found to have been hit with a blunt object on the head between 8am to 9pm, last night.

Police are currently going through the CCTV footage to identify the suspects.

The body has been sent to Sungai Buloh hospital for post-mortem.
