Man found dead in village in Pasir Puteh
Mohd Azmir said upon receiving the report from the homeowner, police rushed to the location and found the man's body, which was fully clothed.
PASIR PUTEH: The body of a man with severe wounds to his head was found in the compound of a house in Kampung Chenggal Batu, here last night.
Pasir Puteh district police chief DSP Mohd Azmir Damiri said the body of the man, believed to be in his 30s, was found by the owner of the house around 9 pm.
"Upon receiving the report from the homeowner, the police rushed to the location and found the man's body and he was fully clothed," he said when contacted, here today.
Mohd Azmir said the body was sent to Tengku Anis Hospital for post-mortem.
"Currently, the case is classified as sudden death and if there are other elements, then police will open an investigation paper accordingly," he said.
