A local man suffered severe injuries after falling 70 feet from a minaret of the Kampung Baru Mosque here on Friday.
In the 7 pm incident, the man, known only as Abshah, 23, broke his legs and arms suffered bruises on the back of his head.
When Bernama arrived at the location, the man was found lying face-up at the bottom of the minaret and was groaning in pain.
A spokesman of the Titiwangsa fire and rescue station said according to witnesses, the victim was seen climbing the minaret towards the roof before he fell.
He added that no documents were found on the body of the victim.
