Man's body found hanging from tree

The body of a man, who was reportedly missing during a solo fishing trip at Sungai Stum Lundu on Tuesday evening, was found hanging from a tree near Kampung Stungkor Lama here today.
Sarawak Search and Rescue Department spokesman said, the man, known as Romy Lego, 25, was found hanging at six-metre from ground at 11.30am on Thursday.
The shocking discovery was made about 2km from Kampung Stungkor Lama and the victim's body was taken out from the jungle at 2pm today by the police and villagers.
Search and rescue efforts were launched by the fire department with the assistance from the police and local folks after a report was lodged by the victim’s father, Lego Nyigon, 48, at the Lundu police station on Wednesday.
The report stated that Romy left their home at Kampung Stungkor Lama at about 5pm on Tuesday to check his bubu (traditional fish trap) at Sungai Stun. He never returned home since then.
